Cheryl Cole lands a lucrative novel writing deal
Washington, Feb 2: Popstar Cheryl Cole has reportedly landed a deal worth a whopping 7.3 million dollars to write romantic novels.
The Girls Aloud luminary will be writing a series of ''chick-lit'' romantic novels aimed at young women.
The romantic novels will be worth 1.43 million dollars each for publishing house HarperCollins.
"She was a singing star in Girls Aloud, but after her instant success as a judge on X Factor she''s reached another level," Contactmusic quoted a source as telling Britain's The People newspaper.
The novel will feature the highs and lows of a woman goes through in her journey to find romance.
"Girl fans love her and they will all want to read her books. She''s been offered a deal for four or five romantic novels, which could be worth up to £5 million," the source said.
She hadn''t previously thought of writing, but she''s come around to the idea," the source added. (ANI)
