Nuremberg, Germany - German second division club Nuremberg
announced Saturday that they have extended the contract of coach
Michael Oenning by two years until 2011.

Oenning came to the club in February of last year as assistant to
then coach Thomas von Heesen, who failed to stave off Nuremberg's
relegation from the Bundesliga in May.

Oenning took the helm in August following Von Heesen's dismissal
and was originally given a contract until the end of this season. (dpa)
