London, Jan 25 : Prince Williams has reportedly rented a swanky pad near RAF Shawbury Shrop for girlfriend Kate Middleton to stay in during her visits to him from her home.

For the next two years, the 26-year-old Prince will be staying at the stone-fronted house on land owned by a family with royal connections.

The one-bedroom bolthole at RAF Shawbury, Shrops has access to an outdoor pool, tennis courts and a boating lake.

Flying Officer Wales, as he's also called, began training last week as an elite search and rescue pilot at RAF and will pay the rent for the home from his 36,000 pounds salary, according to sources.

"He's determined to muck in and socialise. But guests are limited on the base and the room is not up to scratch," The Sun quoted a source as saying.

And it is believed that Kate, 27, will pay regular visits to the lovepad from her home in Buckinghamshire. (ANI)
