Maytas Infra receives Rs 110 crore project from Southern Railways
Hyderabad-based Maytas Infra Private Limited (MIPL), has announced that it has secured a project worth Rs 110 crore from the Southern Railways.
The company has received the said project in consortium with Chennai-based CT Ramanathan and Co. According to sources, the project has been awarded for doubling broad railway track between Chengalpattu and Villupuram in Tamil Nadu.
While cCommenting on the project, Mr. VV Rama Raju, cChief financial officer of Maytas Infra stated, “The project, when completed will aid Southern Railways significantly ease the traffic flow between Chengalpattu and Villupuram. We look forward to deliver this project on time.”
The project is expected to be finalized with in a duration of 18 months.

Scrip of Maytas Infra settled in green at Rs 167, up 4.54 percent on National Stock Exchange (NSE). The total volume of shares traded was 800,159 at the NSE. The stock was in action for past few weeks after the deal with Satyam was called off due to high networth investors’ intervention.
