Car salesmen near tops in job insecurity, report says
Sydney - Car salesmen, real estate agents and investment bankers are the least secure jobs as the economy careens toward recession, research firm IBISWorld Australia said Tuesday.
Also at risk of the dole queue are those engaged in selling luxury products like yachts and seafood.
Among the safest places to work in light of the global economic slowdown is the Defence Force.
Australia has been short of soldiers, sailors and airmen for years and has eased its entry requirements to tempt more people to sign up. (dpa)
