Nokia Delays N-Gage Gaming Service Launch
Nokia has delayed the launch of its ‘N-gage’ gaming service for the third time due to postponements in software screening.
Nokia uncovered the service in August along with plans to make it accessible throughout the world in November.
But, during last month (November), the company declared that it was postponed till December. At this moment, it seems that N-Gage would be available in early 2008.
Nokia representative Kari Tuutti said, “We found one more issue which had to be solved before we could open the service.”
The India’s largest mobile phone company had desired to link up the gaming service together with a music shop and mapping services, and released it under its new ‘Ovi’ brand.
Simultaneously, Nokia has contracted Vodafone, Telefonica and Telecom Italia for Ovi.
Nokia is the first ell phone manufacturer to enter powerfully into the content space along with services such as music or filing sharing site Mosh, where millions have downloaded audio or video files, programmes or documents.
