Gaza City - At least two people were killed Wednesday evening in an Israeli airstrike in northern Gaza, raising the Palestinian death toll of five days of heavy Israeli air raides to at least 393, hospital officials and witnesses said.

The Israel Air Force also destroyed a mosque within Gaza City, which the Israelis said was used by Hamas, the radical Islamic Hamas movement ruling Gaza, to store weapons. (dpa)
