A New Trend In Plastic Surgery
A new in cosmetic surgery, it is now possible to reduce fat rolls and bulges that form on ones’ back, as a direct consequence of the ageing factor. The American Society of Plastic Surgeons concede that this will allow women past their prime to wear form-fitting outfits unselfconsciously, if they so desire.
To corroborate minimal complications as a result of back lift surgery, Joseph Hunstad, a plastic surgeon with twenty back lifts to his credit, conducted a study on seven women who underwent back lift surgery between 2001 and 2007. And as part of the approximately one-hour surgery, these women had excess skin, even up to 10-inches in width removed from their backs. The surgical scar, since the incision required for the procedure is not minimal, had been so placed that it could be concealed under the patient’s bra.
Hunstad’s findings revealed that back lift surgery had minimal complications, and all seven women were allowed to increase their level of activity barely two weeks after the surgery. Positive feedback received from the women gives the stamp of approval, declaring contouring of the middle and upper back to be a safe procedure.
With cutting back fat all the rage, Washington Times story reads: “Forget mommy makeovers, lip plumps, breast enhancement, thigh reductions and tummy tucks, The 'bra-line back lift' is now upon the nation.”
