NBR announces award winners; hopes Brangelina would attend
Washington, Dec 5 : The National Board of Review has come out with a list of its 2008 award winners, and hopes that Hollywood couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie would be able to attend the event.
NBR director Annie Schulgof would like Brangelina to be present at the even on January 14, and for Pitt to introduce David Fincher for Best Director, of “Benjamin Button”, while Jolie would introduce Clint Eastwood as Best Actor, for “Gran Torino.
“Benjamin Button” is on the NBR’s top ten list for the year along with Eastwood’s movie “Changeling”, which was not chosen for the award, Fox News reports.
Anne Hathaway’s “Rachel Getting Married” has also been included in the list along with “Burn After Reading,” “Defiance,” “The Dark Knight”, and “Milk” which has been chosen for Best Supporting Actor for Josh Brolin.
Disney’s “Wall-E” has been given two awards, with unknown movie “Mr. Foe”, a Scottish film starring Jamie Bell, and “In Search of A Midnight Kiss” making up the list. (ANI)
