Mulayam Singh Yadav softens his stand on alliance with Congress
New Delhi, Mar 8 : Keeping a soft stand on the issue, Samajwadi party leader Mulayam Singh Yadav, on Sunday, said that if the Congress agrees, his party is willing to maintain an alliance with the them.
Samajwadi party has declared its list of candidates for Harayana, Uttarakhand and Madhya Pradesh for coming Lok Sabha polls.
Congress General Secretary and incharge of UP affairs Digvijay Singh on Saturday said in Lucknow that the talks with Samajwadi Party are still on.
He also said that the 2004 general elections should not be considered for negotiations for the alliance because the delimitation of the Parliamentary constituencies after that had changed the whole scenario. (ANI)
