New Delhi, Oct 7 : Michael Jackson was often influenced and controlled by others as he was “very meek”, his sister has revealed.

La Toya, the sister of the late pop icon, broke down as she disclosed Jackson’s staff had “controlled” him, reports the China Daily.

"Michael was very meek and very kind and people would just barge their way into his life. People controlled him. They did what they wanted and it was very difficult for him to say no. We''ve tried so many times to intervene but they keep everybody at bay, they keep everyone away actually," Toya said in the UK TV show ''GMTV''.

She said MJ’s staff had influenced him "by controlling him. By controlling his thoughts, controlling what he does, not letting anyone through the gates. We couldn''t even get near security."

The King of Pop died on June 25 due to an overdose of prescription drugs. (ANI)
