On Tuesday, HP, by mistake displayed a picture of its new Mini 1000 Netbook on its Web site for several hours. However, now the new Mini 1000 could be availed through online ordering.

The new Mini 1000 uses the same wide format as that of Hp's business-oriented Mini-Note 2133. It thus fits in an approximately full-size keyboard that is better than the other similar systems. It also replaces the 2133's metal framework for a more consumer-friendly plastic, and also adds a standard Intel Atom CPU.

The Mini 1000 is expected to grab the topmost position among the Netbooks, with the support of its big keyboard alone.
