Sydney, Oct.22 : Australian batsman Michael `Pup" Clarke must have thought it was curtains for his relationship with Sydney model Lara Bingle following the publication of photographs of him canoodling with a busty brunette in Cape Town on the sidelines of the Twenty20 World Cup.

But alls well with the couple, for Lara Bingle is still as bowled over by Clarke.

According to news.com.au, the Cronulla babe flew to Mumbai to be by her man's side as he competed in the one-off Twenty20 international against India at the weekend.

Contrary to reports that Bingle and Clarke would not be together until he returned to Australia, Bingle has spent the past week in India - reuniting with her boyfriend for the first time since photographs showing a busty female fan draped all over the sportsman emerged last month.

While the look of Clarke's bleary-eyed stare in the damning snaps may have suggested the situation really wasn't cricket, Bingle resisted the temptation to rush to his side - instead flying to Los Angeles for a modelling casting call.

"She came back to Australia to have some time with her family after LA and then it just fitted in with the program for her to go over to Mumbai," the couple's joint manager Chris White told Confidential yesterday.

Proving that she calls the score when it comes to their social life, the couple was seated front row at the Lakme Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2008 shows in Mumbai during the week.

Bingle, who returns to Sydney with the team tomorrow, is close to winning a fashion catalogue modelling job with a well known national retailer.

Clarke will be off for a couple of days' rest before resuming training with the team ahead of the first Test against Sri Lanka on November 8. (ANI)
