Tata DOCOMO in partnership with NTT DOCOMO now offers famous Manga and Marvel comics to its customers in India.

Tata DOCOMO, the GRM unit of Tata Teleservices has launched DOCOMICS as a next step for the m-comic application. M-comic enables Tata DOCOMO customers to read whole comic books on their mobile phones with special effects like character vibration, sounds, zooming text bubbles. It uses a 2.5 Edge Network to download.

NTT DOCOMO, Inc. owns the trademark DOCOMICS in the country.

Spider-Man, X-Men, Civil War and Japanese Manga titles like GEOBREEDERS, TAMAHAGANE, AQUA PLANET CHRONICLE, Silent Mobius Complete Edition, SHINESMAN, Old Friend are to be included in DOCOMICS.

Under Tata DOCOMO's introductory offer the customers have to pay a fum of Rs. 15 for a chapter without an data charge in home network. A viewer application is used by DOCOMICS where the content can be viewed frame by frame. The content can be downloaded from WAP site or through the application.
