Lindsay Lohan’s new movie ‘Labour Pains’ flops
London, Apr 6: American actress Lindsay Lohan has yet again failed to make an impression, with her new movie ‘Labour Pains’ going straight to cable TV.
The comedy, which sees Lohan, 22, playing a secretary who fakes a pregnancy to avoid getting fired, did not get the go ahead for a cinema release.
It will now premiere on American channel ABC Family.
“Lindsay does a good job in it but the problem is no one seems to want to see her in anything any more,” the Daily Express quoted an insider as saying.
With the personal problems she has been going through, her career has been going downhill, and she blames the press for the misfortune.
“If people would just stop making me out to be this aloof, spoilt, ungrateful and unprofessional person that I am not and could never be,” she said.
Lohan recently lost out on the lead role in director Tim Burton’s forthcoming remake of ‘Alice In Wonderland’, and she was replaced by Sienna Miller in 2008’s Dylan Thomas biopic ‘The Edge Of Love’. (ANI)
