Kylie Minogue to perform at Oz fundraisers for bushfire victims

Kylie-MinogueMelbourne, March 8 : Kylie Minogue will reportedly take to the stage at Melbourne and Sydney fundraisers for the victims of the devastating Victoria bushfire that cost more than 170 lives.

According to music industry sources, the stunning singer, who is presently shooting her first Bollywood film in Mumbai, will attend the benefit gigs at the MCG and SCG on March 14.

The pop star will join other performers for the one-off Sound Relief mega-concerts, including John Farnham, who is expected to terminate his retirement temporarily to share the stage with Brit rockers Coldplay.

The band's lead singer Chris Martin confirmed they would not be passing up the opportunity to be at the cause-worthy gigs.

"Something like this you would never say no to because it would be terrible,'''' the Herald Sun quoted him as saying.

"It has been worldwide news, so it seemed like we would be real a***holes if we just sat in our hotel rooms saying ''we''re not playing that'','''' he added. (ANI)
