Ace Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan, who has already endorsed a huge range of products, will be seen as a brand ambassador of yet another product, Linc pens. It is for the very first time that the company has signed a superstar to promote its product.

According to Mr. Deepak Jalan, the Managing Director of Linc Pens, Shah Rukh Khan was the obvious choice they could think of as the celebrity himself is a style icon and is best at personifying elegance and also because he has a mass appeal.

The MD also asserted that they want to aggressively market their brand in the western region where Shah Rukh is popular and it is possible only through brand endorsements as the product accounts for less than 5 per cent of the Rs 504-crore western India market as far as writing instruments are concerned.

The Director however not disclosed the signing amount of the celebrity said that they will spend close to 8crore this year only on advertising and marketing.
