Recently released movie Wake Up Sid ran into troubled water for referring Mumbai as Bombay on the first day of its release. MNS (Maharashtra Navnirman Sena) party workers interrupted screening of movie in some cinema halls in Mumbai and Pune.  

MNS Chief Raj Thackeray said that Wake Up Sid has “hurt Marathi pride.” But Karan Johar immediately apologized in case his film has hurt the Marathi Pride. His quick apology to Raj Thackeray has saved loss to the tune of Rs 35 crore.
