Kapur finishes at 8th spot in BMW Open
Indian golfer Shiv Kapoor finished at the 8th spot as he performed brilliantly to shot seven-under 65 in the last round of the BMW International Open in Munich.
Kapoor, who resumed yesterday from overnight 15th position, was at tied third position in the last round but he finished at 8th position with a total score of 16-under 272 in the tournament which was his best performance in the European Tour this season.
Kapur scored four birdies on the front nine as he reached at the score of three-under. He stroked two under par on the par-five 18th after scoring birdies at the 11th and the 16th hole in the last round of the BMW International Open.
Another Indian golfer SSP Chowrasia finished at the tied 21st spot as he scored four-under with a total score of 11-under 277 in the tournament.
While England's Nick Dougherty won the title of BMW International Open with a total of 22-under 266 and Rafa Echenique of Argentina finished as runner-up as he scored 10-under 62 in the last round.
