JMM Chief Shibu Soren Hospitalized In Ranchi
JMM President and former Jharkhand State Chief Minister Shibu Soren was hospitalized following a suspected urinary infection.
Soren, who is in his 60s, was admitted to the intensive care unit of Bokaro General Hospital.
Speaking with the reporters over JMM leader condition, BN Mahapatra (Medical director, Bokaro General Hospital) said, “"He is running a high fever and we suspect urine infection. Tests are being conducted.”
According to the doctors the blood pressure of the JMM leader was found high.
A large number of JMM leaders rushed to hospital on hearing about Soren’s condition.
It can be recalled that the former State CM was admitted to the hospital last month also. In January, Soren had complained of chest pain and was admitted to Apollo Hospital in Ranchi.
On January 9, 2009, Soren was heavily defeated in the by-election to the Tamar assembly constituency to political novice Gopal Krishan Patar alias Raja Peter of the Jharkhand Party by a substantial margin of over 9,000 votes.
