Shibu Soren, Chief Minister of Jharkhand appeared before a court in connection with a murder case.

The double murder was committed at Kudko village 34 years ago.

Soren appeared personally at the court of additional and session's judge (first) of Giridih and stayed there for 15 minutes.

The public prosecutor, Birendra Rai, informed the court that statements of seven witnesses were recorded in the past three years.

The court posted the next date for hearing on December 2.

Violence broke out in Kudku village 34 years ago following killing of two goats. Following the incident a double murder was committed there in which Soren was made one of the accused.
