Japan-based NTT inks MoU with BSNL Japan-based NTT Communications has signed a memorandum of understanding with state-run telecommunications company, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd. (BSNL) to explore partnership opportunities in domestic market.

Through the memorandum of understanding (MoU), both partners will jointly explore various areas for partnership with the basic aim of providing customers with better services. Further, both companies will jointly expand service areas, assure quality, deliver services faster, strengthen maintenance operations, and more.

NTT Communications intends to expand the reach and quality of its local services to help multinational customers develop their businesses in India. The company believes that such a partnership would facilitate the provision of high-quality services sought by customers.

NTT Communications, the wholly owned subsidiary of Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation, is mainly known for delivering high-quality voice, data and IP services to customers around the world.

It should be noted that the Japanese telecom firm has already been providing networking, system integration and other information technology services to multinational companies operating in the Indian market.
