Jade Goody's family tell Jordan she's not welcome at funeral
London, Mar 30 : Even though Jade Goody had forgiven Katie Price a. k. a. Jordan for criticising her public fight with cancer, the late British celebrity's family members have not.
Jordan, 30, who had openly talked to the media when she was diagnosed with a cancerous growth on the finger in 2002, has been told that she is not welcome at the funeral.
The former glamour model has repeatedly stated that she would like to attend the ceremony on April 4 to pay her respects, but Goody's family and friends have told her she is not welcome.
"While Jade may have forgiven her, a lot of her family haven't. If she turns up she will not be allowed in," the Sun quoted a source as saying.
Jordan had in September last year criticised Goody's decision to make her illness public.
"I can't believe she is paid for interviews on subjects that people are really traumatised by," she had said.
After Goody announced that she was suffering from cervical cancer, many got their cervical smears done.
"A lot of people were offended by Jordan's remarks, which showed unbelievable hypocrisy," the source said.
"But Jade had got to the stage where she knew anger and hatred were empty emotions that would get her nowhere.
"She didn't want to row and, although she was hurt, she didn't retaliate," the source added. (ANI)
