Tel Aviv  - An Israel Air Force helicopter crashed during a training exercise in northern Israel Wednesday, Israeli media reported.

Two crew members, including the pilot, were on board the Cobra helicopter, which came down near the kibbutz Ganigar, in the Yezreel Valley, north of the town of Afula.

The fate of the two crew members was not immediately clear. Human error or a technical fault appeared to be behind the crash, the reports said. (dpa)
