The 3G version of the iPad has been hacked and through that, native SMSes were sent.

The infamous iPhone Dev Team Hacker MuscleNerd has sought a method to hack the Apple 3G iPad in order to send SMS. The latest iPad comes locked with AT&T's micro SIM.

After breaking the code it can now be used like a micro SIM. This has spelt beans over the Apple's cautious efforts to keep the iPad hack free.

It was only the last week which saw the release of new tool, Spirit to jailbreak the iPad by iPhone Dev Team and Comex and now it has again devised a new method to send SMS natively through iPad 3G's baseband.

It is believed that the breakthrough has been achieved via acquiring the primitive i. e., non Graphic User Interface hack. With the present conditions prevailing it seems tough for any company to devise a hack- proof item.
