Indian campaign at ITF comes to halt Indian women's campaign came to an end in the International Tennis Federation (ITF) tournament with prize money of USD 10,000 as Isha Lakhani and Sanaa Bhambri lost their respective semifinal matches on Friday.

The third seeded Isha was not able to compete with the top seeded Emily Webley-Smith of Britain and she lost the semifinal match in straight sets by 6-3 6-4 at the DLTA Complex in New Delhi.

The fifth seeded Sanaa was also looking off color and she went down to her seventh seeded Uzbek opponent Alexandra Kolesnicheko in straight sets by 6-3, 6-2 in another semifinal match. Alexandra will now lock horns with Emily in the final match.

The left-handed Isha had defeated sixth-seeded Parija Maloo in straight sets by 6-2 6-0 in the quarterfinal match while Sanaa had outplayed Parul Goswami 6-2, 6-0 in the quarterfinal match. But both players were unable to continue their good show in the semifinal match today.
