The Indian government has denied of all the plans to ban RIM's services, but the only condition is that the Canadian firm needs to oblige with the security norms of the country.

U.K. Bansal, India's internal security head, said that the RIM is in talks with the government in order to reconstitute its service with a constant vigil on all e-mails and SMS messages sent from BlackBerry devices.

The Canadian firm has agreed to abide by the nation's norms and is currently looking out for a mid way that works fine with both the sides.

Bansal through a statement said: "BlackBerry has assured the Ministry of Home Affairs that the issue of monitoring of the BlackBerry will be sorted out soon... I am sure we will soon be on the same page and our concerns will be addressed."

Earlier the Indian Ministry of Home Affairs had sought permission to keep a tab on all SMS and e-mail messages sent by BlackBerry devices within India in order to eliminate all kinds of futuristic threats.
