ICL Adds Spice By Selcting Rakhi Sawant As The ‘Queen Cheerleader’
Another tinge of glamour was added to the Indian Cricket League (ICL) recently, when it introduced the nation’s premium indigenous Indian Cheerleading Squad called 'ICL Zeebras'. The “Queen Cheerleader of the squad was none other than the hot and sensational Rakhi Sawant, who surely got the crowd on cloud-9 with her seductive moves.
Rakhi, who always speaks with a lot of enthusiasm, reported on the occasion, “Cheerleading is not just tamasha dance. It is a sport by itself. Until now it was the exclusive domain of the internationals. But now, thanks to ICL, this country will have an indigenous cheerleaders,
The exotic team members of Zeebra squad are eight vibrant and distinct beauties that have all been selected through an audition judged by Rakhi herself. The names of the girls are, Ritika, Preeti, Jessica, Geeta, Richa, Sharvari, Jayshree & Sangeeta.
The well known choreographer Pratap will choreograph the performances of ICLs Zeebras.
An excited Rakhi further added, “It was after my performance at Panchkula during ICL's Season One, that I saw a huge opportunity about a possible Indian cheerleading squad. That dialogue got resumed a few months later and culminated in the formation of the ICLs Zeebras. I can't wait to don my Zeebra outfit and break into a jig every time Rohan (Gavaskar) or Raviraj (Patil) hits a six. I am sure; this will be one cheerleading squad that the country will remember for a long time to come.”
The Zeebras are all geared up to intoxicate the audiences through their moves in their debut ICL performance on 10th October, 2008 at Hyderabad. Other than this, this chirpy group of cheerleaders will also perform at other ICL venues that are at Gurgaon, Panchkula, Hyderabad and Ahmedabad.
