IBN18 Broadcast Limited has informed that it now become a 50% shareholder in Viacom18 Media Private Limited following the acquisition of Television Eighteen India Limited 15.47% remaining stake in Viacom 18.

IBN18 has paid Rs 151.14 crore, which includes an amount of Rs 29.64 crore as option premium.

Earlier IBN18 had paid Rs 151.95 crore, which included an option premium of Rs 30.45 crore.

Following this acquisition, IBN18 is now a 50% shareholder in such leading channels as Colors, MTV, Nick and Vh1.
