Washington, Feb 16 : Beyonce Knowles, who announced a new world tour and recently released new songs with her former girl group, Destiny's Child, has said that she would not be able to do it all without her husband, rapper Jay-Z, by her side.

She told the ABC News that she would not be the woman she is if she did not go home to Jay-Z.

The 31-year-old singer said that the rapper has helped her in many levels.

She asserted that the couple were friends first for a year and a half before they went on any date on the phone for a year and a half.

"And that foundation is so important in a relationship.  And just to have someone that you just like is so important and someone that is honest," she added. (ANI)
