The first thing that catches your attention is the 'gy-normous' heart-shaped ring on her finger. But Shetty coyly says, "No. I am not yet engaged." Apart from being in love, a lot of things have been keeping the 33 year-old actor pre-occupied. Firstly her latest venture, a partnership with Kiran Bawa for their Spa is known. Shilpa has been upbeat about the spa launch. "Not a lot of people know when I had passed out from SSC, I went and did a beautician course in Chembur. As a kid, I have always wanted to open a salon and spa. Kiran is a family friend who I was naturally eager to help. I am a spa junkie. Whenever I travel, spas are the first place I visit in a new city," says Shetty who would often get brochures and give them to Kiran, with tips and suggestion on interesting additions to the spa.

Not known to many, Shetty also has a production house, which till date has produced her yoga DVD and will be soon shooting and producing a music video for their team in Jaipur. From being an actor to a businesswoman she says, "I belong to a business family and I have helped my dad. I was nobody then. Acting happened by default. I think my transition from acting to business is happening a little late in life, even so, I am extremely passionate about whatever I do."

On the films front, she informs, "I am working on two movies, The Desire and a Sunny Deol production titled The Man, however the title for the latter is likely to change." On a personal front has everything changed since Raj Kundra's entry in her life? She twist the answer a bit and says, "I like to be pampered. When you have a man in your life, then it has to change or what's the difference?"
