HTC might release ‘One X’ on May 6
Smartphone maker, HTC might be planning to release its much anticipated HTC One X smartphone on AT&T smartphone on 6 May, 2012.
According to reports, the data is official date for the launch of the smartphone, which will be the first Ice Cream Sandwich-powered Android smartphone from the carrier, in the US market. The smartphone has received a lot of attention due to its quad-core Tegra 3 processor however the AT&T version of the device will not come with the Nvidia's chipset because it is not compatible with the new 4G network of the company.
The device will be powered by with Qualcomm's dual-core Snapdragon processor clocked at 1.5 GHz and will come with 1GB of RAM. It has a 4.7-inch IPS LCD2 display with 720p display and 16GB of internal memory.
It comes with a 8-megapixel camera with LED flash support. The camera is capable of capturing 1080p video at 30fps and shoots excellent quality images even I the lighting condition is not adequate. The phone also has a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera.
The company will offer the device at $199.99 on a two-year contract terms.
