Homeless couple killed a woman for refusing to let them use her shower
They arrested a homeless couple who allegedly killed a woman for refusing to let them use her shower, Police in Florida has said.
The South Florida Sun-Sentinel reported on Friday that investigators said Delia Padron, 57, and Oscar Camejo, 55, previously identified by alias Lazard Falco, were arrested Wednesday at a McDonald's in connection with the death of Jill Dornbush of Davie, who had befriended the couple.
It was revealed by Police that Padron and Camejo walked to Dornbush's apartment April 30 and became angry when she wouldn't let them use her shower. They said Camejo told them different stories about how Dornbush died, including falling on the knife and stabbing herself in the neck when he grabbed her from behind.
It was further reported that the couple told police they rolled Dornbush's body into a quilt and put it in a trash bin at a nearby plaza. Police said the body may have been incinerated by the waste disposal company in charge of the bin.
Padron and Camejo stole Dornbush's car and "some of her personal items, but no credit cards, nothing that would benefit them monetarily," Davie police Sgt. David Choquette said. (With Inputs from Agencies)
