Google keeping an eye on your moves
Google's Dashboard feature for avid Maps users has undergone a make-over and now boasts of advanced features. The recent Location History Dashboard version keeps a record of the locations where you had been through Latitude subscription and keeps it for certain number of days.
Although this service is an opt-in future, which if enabled can show you the data trends of the locations you've visited during particular time frame. Through the Google Latitude service the location is cached and later displayed on the dashboard. It is also supposed that this new version of Dashboard relies more on data for better statistics.
Say for example if one uses Latitude from home to work then the Dashboard will show you how many times and where did you stop for a break or to grab a bite. However this feature again raises questions on the privacy of data which Google promises to keep it private and can only be revealed by the user and cannot be shared with anyone.
