GOOGLE's new launch BUZZ a social networking tool, has created a lot of buzz in the market with a threat to users e-mail addresses being publicly available.

The rising popularity of networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter has forced GOOGLE to create this Buzz. The applications feature shares information about other people who are using buzz & have set up public profiles in Google, made public which is a default setting in the application.

The personal e-mail addresses of those using Google's buzz can be made public if the user doesn't exercise sharp scrutiny measures, which can be done through an Edit profile feature. G-mail is widely used for personal purpose & such public availability of e-mail addresses pose serious threat to user's personal information.

To take the attack on networking sites the search giant Google's new kid Buzz, has other new features as well which enables Gmail users to create status updates like Facebook, pull in Twitter tweets from friends & also enable other features as YouTube videos, Picasa and Flickr photos, Web links etc. The war to capture the share of social networking will only become more interesting with this launch as users can look forward for many new & exciting applications.
