London, Apr. 8 : Coach Rafa Benitez is of the view that Manchester United's Alex Ferguson is scared of his club Liverpool FC.

The Anfield chief said: "He is worried about us and the challenge Liverpool can make. He likes to talk too much about other teams but I don't think it's mind games - I just think he's a little bit scared."

"I want to concentrate on my games but clearly you can see that Manchester United are not playing well so they are feeling the pressure," The Sun quoted him, as saying.

London, Apr. 8 : The FIA World Motorsport Council has asked representatives of McLaren to appear before it in Paris on April 29 to answer charges relating to being in breach of the International Sporting Code.

The summons follows Lewis Hamilton''s exclusion from the Australian grand prix for giving "misleading" evidence to race stewards.

According to The Guardian, McLaren are accused of being in specific breach of Article 151c of the sporting code, relating to "any fraudulent conduct or any act prejudicial to the interests of any competition or to the interests of motor sport generally".

Adelaide, Apr. 8 : Adelaide Police have said that they are not treating the death of former world champion cyclist Jobie Dajka as suspicious.

The body of the 2002 Commonwealth Games and world championships gold medallist was discovered at his Adelaide home late on Tuesday, Fox Sports reports.

The cause of Dajka''s death is not yet known but it doesn''t appear suspicious, South Australian Police say.

Dajka, who won the world Keirin title and shared the Commonwealth team sprint title, had admitted to alcoholism and depression following his omission from Australia''s 2004 Athens Olympic team for lying to a doping inquiry.

Wellington, Apr. 8: New Zealand cricket team coach Andy Moles says that he is looking forward to strike bowler Shane Bond’s return to international cricket after he quits the unsanctioned ICL Twenty20 competition.

Bond has indicated that he plans to play a full season for Canterbury in 2009-10, not simply the limited overs competitions. And if the cash-strapped ICL folds he would again be available for international selection a year after cutting his ties with New Zealand Cricket.

The United boss went ahead with Sunday’s TV clash against Aston Villa, rather than bring it forward 24 hours.

“We showed tiredness because of the gamble I took playing Sunday which was not the best preparation. But we faced a situation and we took the best option hoping a European occasion would bring the adrenalin up,” The Sun quoted Fergie, as saying.

Sydney  - Australia's cycling fraternity was in shock Wednesday at the death of former world champion sprinter Jobie Dajka.

The body of the 27-year-old who won gold in the keirin event at the 2002 track cycling world championships in Denmark was found Tuesday at his Adelaide home.

No information on the cause of death has been released, but police said it was not believed to be suspicious.

Former road cyclist Patrick Jonker said Dajka had been getting his life back on track after being kicked off the team for the 2004 Athens Olympics after lying to a doping inquiry and serving a three-year ban for assaulting a track coach.
