SAP, IBM to roll out first joint software "Alloy" in MarchOn Monday, IBM, the world's largest technology services company, and German software company SAP AG announced that they are thinking to launch their first jointly developed software product in March.

SAP said, "The software -- called Alloy -- combines IBM Lotus Notes software with SAP Business Suite and will be sold by both companies."

Blackberry's touchscreen 'Storm' launched by Vodafone  ‘Blackberry Storm’ was launched on Monday by Telecom operator Vodafone Essar in India. Storm is the premier touchscreen phone, which has been developed by the company exclusively with Canada-based technology provider Research In Motion (RIM).

Vodafone Essar Director Marketing and New Business Harit Nagpal reported, “The market for smartphones in India is at a very nascent stage and growing rapidly. ‘Blackberry Storm' takes the 3G experience a step forward.”
