Karnataka government will take immediate precautionary actions in Dakshina Kannada region in order to put control over Malaria as other zones in the state are confronting the threat of the outbreak spreading from the port city.
While lecturing at a press meet, Mr. Madan Nayak, Joint Secretary of Health and Family Welfare, stated that the pandemic should be controlled within two months to catch a possible statewide eruption.
Mr. Nayak also said that the Dakshina Kannada has topped the list with 64% of the total malaria cases in the state.
