Madrid  - Klaas-Jan Huntelaar's agent denied Monday the Dutchman would like to leave Real Madrid barely two months after joining the club, although he admitted the forward was not happy in his current situation.

"The lad has never said he wants to leave Real Madrid. I spoke to him and I firmly deny those rumours. He has never spoken about that. He wants to play and he wants to do so at Real Madrid," agent Arnold Oosterveer said in an interview with the Italian website Calciomercato.

Dusseldorf - Defender Andreas Beck and midfielder Mesut Ozil are set to win their first caps for Germany in Wednesday's friendly international against Norway in Dusseldorf.

Assistant coach Hansi Flick said Monday Hoffenheim right-back Beck, 21, and 20-year-old Werder Bremen midfielder Ozil would play some part in the game.

"We have called up Andi Beck and Mesut Ozil to see how they perform. We plan to play both of them," he said.

London - Struggling English Premier League side Portsmouth confirmed the sacking of manager Tony Adams on Monday following a run of two wins in 16 league matches since the former Arsenal and England defender took charge.

"The owner and the board feel they have been as supportive as they can during a period when results have been poor," the club said in a statement.

"The priority for the club is to remain in the top flight and we feel the appointment of a new manager will give us the best opportunity to enable us to do this."

London - Fabio Capello is relishing the chance to test his mettle against one of the world's best sides as he prepares England for their friendly international against Spain in Seville on Wednesday.

The Italian watched his team beat Germany in their most recent outing but a contest against the European champions will give him a real indication of how far England have come and how far they still need to go to be competitive at the 2010 World Cup.
