Futuristic warfare research centre - Bangalore

BEL-LogoThe Silicon City of India is all geared up to have its first electronic warfare tech research centre. The Centre for Electronic Warfare will be doing their study in the areas of electronic warfare and electro-optics a futuristic technology detailed study. This was confirmed by Chairman and Managing Director of Bharat Electronics Ltd. (BEL) Ashwani Kumar Datt.

This public sector company works under the Ministry of Defense and after development of the laboratory it will enable BEL to concentrate in the field of Nuclear power instrumentation which is a new division. Prior to this BEL did studies on radar and communication technology.

Aiding a thumbs-up to this Vice-Admiral R. K. Dhowan, Deputy Chief of the Naval Staff, said that in order to keep an update of the on-goings' in the field of defense technology one should build a forum where the concept of next generation technology could be materialized .

This piece of news was shared in the conference being held relating to the electronic warfare. It involves the participation of more than ten countries, supporting which are the DRDO and BEL.
