Fusion Garage to release its controversial 3G Joojoo tablet PC
Fusion Garage's plan to release the 3G version of its much awaited Joojoo tablet seems to gain momentum and is scheduled for release by July 2010.
Considered to be one of the most anticipated and most talked-about rivals to the Apple iPad the Hardware Startup, Fusion Garage CEO, Chandrasekar Rathakrishnan said that the tablet PC would not be sold directly, instead will be channelized through mobile network operators such as T-Mobile or Orange.
The statements made by the head honcho of the firm indicated that the Joojoo will be proffered at a price close to most of the subsidised netbooks and notebooks with 1GB monthly data packages starting at £25 for a two-year contract.
Further hinting on the warranty details, Rathakrishanan said that the company would not cease users from tweaking or even hacking the Joojoo but this act would nullify the device's warranty.
Available at £319 excluding delivery the Wi-Fi - only model will be shipped later this month.
