Fast foods fuelling diabetics’ cases

Fast foods fuelling diabetics’ casesThe slow rise in case of fast food habits i. e., junk food may give rise to diabetes in Asia according to experts.

According to the discovery made by Australian and Vietnamese scientists revealed that which is near to around 11percent of men and 12percent of women in Vietnam's Ho Chi Minh City had unidentified type-2diabetes and the hypothetical cause for the same was fast food spending.

Diabetes as we all know is caused by high levels of sugar and fat in the diet and conjured with lack of proper exercise resulting into heart disease, vision loss and kidney failure.

According to Professor Tuan Nguyen of the Sydney-based institute: "Dietary patterns have been changing dramatically in Vietnam in recent years, particularly in the cities as they become more Westernised," the BBC reports.

He further adds that fast food outlets even though present everywhere helps build a craving resulting in diabetes.

This according to the team is a better condition that results in better extrapolation of findings to pertain other regions of South East Asia including Malaysia, Singapore, Cambodia and Laos.
