At the national capital Delhi Police have seized a fake cold drinks factory along with the arrest of six people and claiming a recovery of around 1,000 counterfeit bottles of well-known brands.

The company based at north-east Delhi was found to be producing the drinks under the names of prominent brands like Pepsi, Coca Cola, Sprite and Thumbs Up.

The man behind this counterfeit business Rakesh Tomar, has been absconding from the site a police official stated. The products too were supplied to local markets which gave no reason whatsoever to suspect.

Close to 1,000 bottles were seized in this raid, police said.

This activity is an example that indicates how serious the events have become. It does not affect the business; more importantly claims life of individuals showing no mercy at all.
