England maintain perfect record with easy win in Kazakhstan
Almaty, Kazakhstan - England made it six wins out of six in their World Cup qualifying campaign with a 4-0 win in Kazakhstan on Saturday.
Goals from Gareth Barry, Emile Heskey, Wayne Rooney and Frank Lampard sealed a straightforward win for Fabio Capello's side, who now have 18 points the top of Group 6.
Kazakhstan had a goal ruled out for off-side before Barry headed England ahead two minutes before half-time.
Heskey doubled their lead two minutes later, firing home a deflected Steven Gerrard cross to make it 2-0 at the interval.
England struggled to break down the home side after the break, but Rooney eased any nerves with the third goal on 73 minutes.
And Lampard rounded off the scoring with the fourth from the penalty spot 12 minutes from the end. (dpa)
