Educomp Solutions, a leading New Delhi based IT infrastructure provider to schools, has announced that it has received an order worth Rs 83 crore from Gujarat Government.

The company stated in a communiqué to Bombay Stock Exchange that it has bagged the said order for introducing computer-aided learning (CAL) in government run secondary and senior secondary schools in the state.

Under this contract the key deliverables include supply, installation and maintenance of computer hardware, software and connected accessories offering computer aided education.

According to reports, with the current order the company has reached 13,792 schools in the country including 5099 in Gujarat alone.
