Edgbaston test ends in a draw
Australian batsman Michael Clarke has smashed an unbeaten century on the fifth day of the third test match of the Ashes test series at Edgbaston against England as the test match ended in a draw on Monday.
Australia score stood at 375 runs for loss of 5 wickets when both teams decided to end match without any result. England is leading the series 1-0 as they had won the Lords test match.
The match was greatly affected by rain as first day of the test match was washed away and rain continued to halt play on other days of the test match also.
Clarke was declared man of the match for his brilliant inning of 103 runs not out in the second inning.
Fourth test match of the Ashes test series will be played at Leeds from 7th August and Australian team will be looking to win this match to level the series.
