Real Estate major, DLF has announced its fourth quarter financial results for the fiscal year 2009-10 and has managed to register an impressive net profit. The company has posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 426.4 crore for the quarter that ended in 31st March, 2010.

It was reported to be Rs 158 crore for the fourth quarter last year. This net profit figure has grown up by two-fold this quarter as compared to the same quarter in the preceding year.

So far as the total sales of the firm are concerned, it has touched Rs 1,994.4 crore during the January-March period of fiscal year 2009-10. It was Rs 1,122.3 crore for the same quarter last year. The total sales of DLF have gone up by 78% in the quarter under review.

The revenue of the company has been reported to be Rs 2,146 crore in the fourth quarter against Rs 1,351 crore in January-March 2009. The revenue of DLF has jumped 78% this time. The sharp recovery in the real estate market has propelled the company to post such a striking result.
