DHL, the global major in international express, transport, courier and air freight has signed a five-year agreement with Airbus, one of the world's leading aircraft manufacturers.

Under the agreement, DHL will implement a full transport management system and streamline the transport of moving materials from the supplier to the Airbus manufacturing plants.

DHL's expertise in deploying transportation solutions to deliver harmonization and optimization of transportation processes aims at generating savings for large size customers.

Implementation of the new transportation concept will start 1st September this year.
