Delhi goes to polls todayThe stage is set for the Delhi Assembly Elections to be held on Saturday.

The polls would be held in an unprecedented blanket of security in the 69 constituencies of Delhi.

A total of 863 candidates are in the fray for 69 seats of the 70-member Assembly.

Polling for Rajendra Nagar seat, where BJP candidate Puran Chand Yogi allegedly committed suicide during campaigning, will take place on 13th December.

Over 1.07 crore voters, including 4.28 lakh youths will cast their votes for Delhi election.

The stakes in this elections are high for Sheila Dikshit, Chief Minister for the past ten years, who faces voters on development agenda.

On the other hand BJP led by its Chief Ministerial candidate V K Malhotra is hoping to cash in on anti-incumbency and BSP's 'spoiler effect' on the Congress.

BJP fielded all its 19 sitting MLAs while Congress dropped three of its 47 legislators from the final list.
