Death-camp trial delayed by hospitalizationAuthorities have revealed that the trial of a former Ohio autoworker alleged to have been a guard at a Nazi death camp is on hold while the defendant is hospitalized.

WEWS-TV, Cleveland, reported on Tuesday that John Demjanjuk, 90, was deported to Germany from the United States in 2009 to face 28,000 counts of accessory to murder during his alleged time as a guard at the Sobibor death camp during World War II.

Demjanjuk has denied any involvement.

Officials further said that Demjanjuk had various health problems and was taken to a Munich hospital for a blood transfusion.
